Effective January 1, 2012, the Benefits of Capital Swing Membership have changed as follows:

Membership Costs

  • Capital Swing Membership costs $35 per year for an individual
  • Additional household members (sharing an address) can join for $25 per year per person
  • Students (under 18 or full-time college students with ID) can join for $20 per year

Benefits of Membership

  • Discounted admission to all monthly dances and workshops
    • $5 off each monthly dance
    • $5 off any 5:30 PM Intermediate or Advanced workshop before a monthly dance
    • Discounted admission to any multi-workshop package that Capital Swing puts on before a monthly dance (generally about 40-50% off)
  • Ability to purchase five-dance Dance Cards for $20, giving further discounts on member-only pricing for monthly dance
  • Discounted admission to special events such as Capital Swing’s annual raft trip
  • Discounted admission to dances of reciprocating swing dance clubs including Next Generation, BLSDC, Santa Cruz, Carson City and others
  • Access to Capital Swing’s video library
