Competition Guidelines

Last year, we made the following changes to our rules:

MASTERS Jack & Jill

Previously, our Masters Jack & Jill was for Intermediate & Advanced dancers only, and we allowed everyone to dance in only ONE J&J. This year, Masters J&J contest will now be “Open” to all levels, we will have at minimum a preliminary round, and we will have a cut to finals. Also, these competitors will also be allowed to dance in their level J&J (i.e. Novice, Inter, Adv, etc)!

JUNIORS Strictly Swing

In the past for all Juniors, they had to dance in the Junior Jack & Jill and the Junior Strictly Swing (SS) only. They were not allowed to dance in their level for either contest. For 2012, we are allowing the Juniors to dance in the level for Strictly Swing!  We will no longer hold a Juniors Strictly Swing division.  So grab your favorite dance partner and enter in your level of Strictly Swing!  Juniors are still required to dance in the Junior Jack & Jill.
